Some entrepreneurs build one company and spend a lifetime perfecting it. Others, like Abdul Ali T P, take a different approach – building a portfolio of ventures, each answering a distinct question about how people travel, how startups get noticed, and how communities stay connected. As the Founder and CEO of Startupmac, Travel Trex, and Mallu News, Abdul Ali T P has spent the better part of a decade proving that focused, audience-first businesses can thrive even when they don’t share an obvious industry in common.

The journey began in 2022 with Travel Trex, a platform built around a simple but underserved idea: travel should feel curated, not commoditized. At a time when most travel platforms competed on price and volume, Abdul Ali T P set out to build something different – a service centered on thoughtfully designed adventures rather than generic, one-size-fits-all packages. Travel Trex’s specialization in South East Asia tours and holidays reflects that philosophy, treating the region not as a checklist of destinations, but as a landscape of experiences worth discovering properly.

Building a travel brand in a crowded digital marketplace required more than good instincts about destinations – it required real fluency in digital growth. Abdul Ali T P pursued Meta Certification and applied that platform-level expertise directly to Travel Trex’s brand development and customer acquisition strategy, treating marketing not as an afterthought but as a core discipline of the business itself. That grounding in performance-driven digital strategy would go on to shape every venture that followed.

It didn’t take long for a second opportunity to emerge – this time not in travel, but in the startup ecosystem itself. Abdul Ali T P recognized a persistent gap: promising founders and early-stage startups often had compelling stories but no efficient, credible way to get those stories in front of the right audiences. Traditional PR was slow and expensive, and most existing media platforms weren’t built with startups specifically in mind.

That gap became the foundation for Startupmac, founded in 2025 as a tech media platform dedicated to founders’ stories, startup news, and industry updates. Rather than trying to serve a broad general audience, Abdul Ali T P made a deliberate decision to keep Startupmac narrowly focused on tech founders and startups – a choice rooted in the belief that a platform built for everyone ends up trusted by no one. The vision was to give startups a level of visibility that used to be reserved for companies with significant PR budgets, using digital and social media advertising to build trust and reach for founders who were building something real, even without a large marketing team behind them.

That accessibility is reflected directly in how Startupmac is structured. A Basic tier gives startups an affordable entry point into visibility – a website article distributed across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, and Threads – while a Premium tier extends that reach dramatically further, spanning LinkedIn, LinkedIn Newsletter, YouTube, Bluesky, and more than a dozen additional channels. Abdul Ali T P designed this tiered model intentionally, so that founders at different stages of growth could access the level of visibility that actually matched where their business stood.

The ambition behind Startupmac has always extended beyond individual client campaigns. Abdul Ali T P has pursued recognition for the platform through Vande Bharatam, submitting an official pitch deck to position Startupmac within a broader national conversation about entrepreneurship – a signal that the platform’s mission is about strengthening the startup ecosystem itself, not just delivering one-off PR packages.

While Startupmac was taking shape, Abdul Ali T P’s entrepreneurial instincts led toward a third, more personal venture. Mallu News, founded in 2026, was built to serve a very different kind of audience – one connected not by professional ambition, but by community and culture. Focused on entertainment news and regional updates centered on Kerala, India, Mallu News reflects a different side of Abdul Ali T P’s entrepreneurial identity: a genuine interest in staying connected to home, culture, and the stories that matter to a specific community.

Growing Mallu News has demanded a different playbook than the other two ventures. Rather than relying on a niche, professionally motivated audience actively seeking out startup coverage or travel inspiration, Abdul Ali T P has had to build visibility for Mallu News from the ground up within a competitive regional media space – running targeted Meta Ads campaigns focused specifically on driving profile visits and organic community growth.

What unites Travel Trex, Startupmac, and Mallu News isn’t a shared industry – it’s a shared operating philosophy that Abdul Ali T P has applied consistently across all three. Identify an audience that existing platforms are underserving. Understand precisely what value looks like to that audience. Build the simplest, most focused platform possible to deliver it. Whether the audience is a traveler seeking something beyond a generic package tour, a founder trying to get noticed without a corporate PR budget, or a reader wanting news that feels close to home, the underlying approach stays the same.

This multi-venture path also reflects something deeper about how Abdul Ali T P approaches entrepreneurship: each business informs the next. The digital marketing expertise sharpened while scaling Travel Trex directly shaped how Startupmac was positioned and grown. The discipline of building a distribution-focused media platform at Startupmac, in turn, informed the more grassroots, community-first strategy behind Mallu News. Nothing has been built in isolation.

Beyond running these platforms, Abdul Ali T P also writes actively on startups and technology – not simply operating businesses that amplify other people’s stories, but contributing directly to the broader conversation about what it actually takes to build something from nothing in today’s fast-moving digital environment. That dual identity, as both operator and commentator, has become a defining thread across everything Abdul Ali T P has built.

At the core of it all is a consistent commitment to helping startups grow through PR, branding, and community – a mission that runs through Startupmac’s founder-focused platform, Travel Trex’s curated approach to travel branding, and even Mallu News’s community-first model of audience building. Each venture, in its own way, is about helping something – or someone – get the visibility and connection it deserves.

Looking ahead, Abdul Ali T P’s focus remains less about consolidating these ventures into a single brand and more about continuing to build platforms that genuinely serve the people they’re designed for. Whether that means helping a founder land their first real media moment through Startupmac, helping a traveler discover an experience they’d never have found on their own through Travel Trex, or simply keeping a community connected through Mallu News, that commitment to purpose-driven, audience-first building is what defines Abdul Ali T P’s entrepreneurial journey – and what will likely shape whatever he builds next.
